Choosing to be a yoga instructor is easier than you think. Although Hatha, Kundalini, and Raja Yoga contain many breathing exercises (Pranayama) and postures (Asanas), Yoga is not merely another physical exercise system. A teacher can also help you go a little deeper into a pose so you get the most from your practice.

Vinyasa yoga, sometimes called Flow or Power yoga, contains a completely different focus, in comparison to the meditative Hatha. You do not have to just think of Yoga as an end; Yoga is also a means. One of the central ideas of yoga is self-study.

If you are an athlete, I recommend you try power yoga. It helps you gain control over your thinking instead of being at the mercy of wayward thoughts.
